Nagarjuna Construction Company Limited, achieved a total income of Rs.474 Crores (including other income) for the 3rd Quarter ended 31st December, 2005 as against a turnover of Rs.265 crores in the corresponding period of the previous year, registering an impressive growth of 79%. The Company posted a turnover of Rs.1201 crores for the nine months period ended 31st December, 2005 as against Rs.741 crores over the corresponding period of previous year. The Company earned a gross profit of Rs.47.36 crores and net profit of Rs.26.78 crores in the 3rd quarter as against Rs.23.06 crores and Rs.12.09 crores reported respectively in the corresponding period of the previous year, thus recording a growth of 121% in the net profit. The Company earned a gross profit of Rs.115.29 crores and a net profit of Rs.66.36 crores for the 9 months period as against Rs.61.16 crores and Rs.33.64 crores reported respectively in the corresponding period of the previous year.

The Company has recorded a basic EPS of Rs.3.25 for the 3^rd quarter and Rs.8.25 for the 9 months period ended 31st December, 2005 as against Rs.1.94 and Rs.5.71 reported respectively in the corresponding period of the previous year.

The results for the 3^rd quarter ended 31.12.2005 were taken on record by the Board at its meeting held on 28.01.2006.
