Nagarjuna Construction Company Limited, (stand alone) achieved a Turnover of Rs. 2900.23 Crores (including other income) for the year ended 31st March, 2007 as against a turnover of Rs.1842.47 crores in the Previous Year, registering an impressive growth of 57% over the Previous Year. The Company posted a gross profit of Rs. 298.93 crores (PBIDT) as against Rs.166.09 crores in the Previous Year. The operations resulted in a net profit of Rs.151.91 Crores as against Rs.103.90 Crores in the Previous Year, showing a growth of 46% in the net profit.

The Company has posted a Turnover of Rs. 894.84 Crores and Net Profit of Rs. 49.93 Crores in 4th Quarter as against Turnover of Rs.641.00 Crores and Net Profit of Rs.34.95 Crores respectively in the corresponding Quarter of the Previous Year.

The Company has recorded a basic EPS of Rs.7.35 for the year as against Rs.6.04 of the previous year and Rs.2.41 for the 4th quarter as against Rs.1.70 in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

The order book position of the Company as on 31.03.2007 stood at Rs.7303 Crores.

The Board of Directors at their meeting held on 28.05.2007 have recommended final equity dividend of 20% ( Post Bonus Issue ) subject to the approval of the Shareholders at the Annual General meeting. The Board of Directors have earlier in their meeting held on 21st March, 2007 declared an interim dividend of 40% (Post Bonus Issue). The total equity dividend for the financial year 2006-07 works out to 60%

As per the Business Plan for the Financial Year 2007-08 approved by the Board at its meeting held today, the Company has targeted to achieve a turnover of Rs.4000 Crores (38% growth over the year 2006-07)
