Nagarjuna Construction Company Limited [NCC], achieved a turnover of Rs.652.64 Crores for the 2nd quarter ended 30th September, 2006 as against Rs.366.13 Crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, registering an impressive growth of 78% over the previous period. The Company has reported a Gross Profit of Rs.62.76 Crores (before Interest, Depreciation and Taxes) and a Net Profit of Rs.39.33 Crores for the 2nd quarter ended 30th September, 06 as against Rs.38.36 Crores and Rs.20.41 Crores respectively in the corresponding period of the previous year, recording an impressive growth of 93% in Net Profit.

The company has reported a turnover of Rs.1305.14 crores and a Net Profit of Rs.77.74 crores for the half year ended 30th September, 2006 as against Rs.725.94 crores and Rs.39.58 crores of the corresponding period of the previous year respectively. EPS for the 2nd Quarter (not annualized) on the enhanced capital post Bonus issue stood at Rs.1.90 as against Rs.1.28 in the corresponding period of the Previous Year.

In the current year, the company has secured orders aggregating Rs.2548 crores and enhanced the Order Book to Rs.6700 crores. The Company has targeted to achieve Rs.3000 crores Turnover for the current year and the Company is confident of achieving the said Turnover .
